Expert Review of the New iMac

The New iMac desktop offers more features and better performance than several Windows-based PCs in conjunction with high-class design and strong built. The new Apple iMac ships in two 20 inch models and a single 24 inch model. The new iMacs spot a glossy display and come with a black cloth to keep the extremely-reflective display smudge free. It is powered by a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7700 processor, a 320 GB serial ATA hard drive, 2 GB of memory, ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro graphics with 256MB of GDDR3 memory, and a slot-loading SuperDrive DVD burner. Network connection options include Gigabit Ethernet, AirPort Extreme 802.11n wireless networking, integrated Bluetooth 2.0, and an infrared receiver for use with the included remote control. The new iMacs use Intel's Santa Rosa platform, which provides a higher front side bus speed and integrated support for Wi-Fi standard 802.11n.
