Review: Panasonic 42" Plasma HDTV
With the Panasonic 42 inch Plasma Screen HDTV you can turn your living room into a movie theater and experience an amazing level of multimedia excitement. On this TV not only can you watch your favorite programs, movies but also can view pictures taken from your digital camera via the built-in SD Card slot. The unit has a high 10000:1 contrast ratio, which lends itself to the perception of image quality.
This Panasonic HDTV set uses an exclusive circuit known as Real Black Drive that decreases the required idle energy by as much as 90% when compared with typical designs. Less idle energy produces less idle light in dark areas so black areas are darker. While most digital displays today only support a maximum of 16.7 million colors, this HDTV stands out with being able to reproduce 29 billion colors, to better match the capabilities of the human eye towards color that's more true to life.
